BC Industrial Supply is an independent industrial supplier directory for British Columbia. We list businesses based on publicly available information and assign a status label to every profile that reflects how that information was sourced and reviewed. This page explains what each status means, what we do not guarantee, and how suppliers can take control of their profiles.

What BC Industrial Supply Is
BC Industrial Supply is a directory and request-for-quote (RFQ) platform. We aggregate publicly available information about industrial suppliers operating in British Columbia and present it in a searchable format to help buyers find and connect with suppliers.
We are not a broker, agent, or endorser. We do not evaluate product quality, service reliability, financial standing, or business legitimacy. Listing on this directory does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by BC Industrial Supply or Boost Commerce Group Inc.
Buyers should conduct their own due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship with a listed supplier.
Listing Status System
Every supplier profile on BC Industrial Supply carries one of three status labels. These labels describe how the profile was created and what level of review has been applied. They are not quality ratings.
What it means
This profile was created from publicly available business information — including business registries, trade directories, industry associations, and public websites. The business has not been contacted by BC Industrial Supply and has not claimed this profile. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors.
What it does not mean: This status does not imply any quality assessment, endorsement, or active relationship with the business.
What it means
We have manually confirmed that this business has an active, reachable website and that the core business information — name, category, and general location — is consistent with what is publicly listed. This check was performed by a member of our team at the time of listing or during a periodic review.
What it does not mean: Website verification is not an endorsement of product quality, service reliability, licensing status, or business legitimacy. Information may still be outdated. The business has not necessarily been contacted.
What it means
A business owner or authorized representative has submitted a claim request, been reviewed by our team, and now controls this profile. The contact details and business information on a Claimed profile are managed directly by the business. Claimed profiles may include additional detail, updated information, and direct supplier-managed content.
What it does not mean: Claiming a profile is not a quality certification. BC Industrial Supply does not independently verify the accuracy of information submitted by claiming businesses, nor do we evaluate their products, services, or business practices.
What We Do Not Guarantee
BC Industrial Supply does not guarantee or represent any of the following:
- The quality, safety, or fitness of any product or service offered by a listed supplier
- The accuracy or completeness of any information on a supplier profile
- That a listed business is currently operating, licensed, or in good standing
- That contact information is current or that the business will respond to inquiries
- Any outcome resulting from a commercial relationship initiated through this directory

How Suppliers Can Claim or Correct Their Profile
Claiming Your Profile
- Find your business in our supplier directory
- Click on your business name to open the profile page
- Click "Are you the owner of this business? Claim this profile."
- Fill in your name, email address, role, and a brief message
- Our team will review your request and contact you within 1–2 business days
Once approved, you will be able to update your profile information, add capability details, and manage how your business appears in the directory. You can also submit a new listing if your business is not yet in the directory.
Requesting a Correction or Removal
If your business is listed with incorrect information, or if you wish to have your profile removed from the directory, contact us directly:

We respond to correction and removal requests within 3 business days. You can also use our contact form.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a higher status mean a better supplier?
No. The status labels describe how a profile was created and reviewed — not the quality, reliability, or reputation of the business. A "Claimed" supplier is not necessarily better than a "Public listing" supplier. Buyers should evaluate suppliers based on their own criteria.
How often is profile information updated?
Public listing profiles are updated periodically as part of our directory maintenance. Website verified profiles are re-checked at least annually. Claimed profiles are updated by the business owner on an ongoing basis. If you notice outdated information, please contact us.
Is there a fee to claim or list a business?
Basic listing and claiming is free. We offer optional paid plans for suppliers who want enhanced visibility, priority placement, or additional profile features. See our supplier listing page for details.
Can I list a business that is not yet in the directory?
Yes. Visit our List Your Business page to submit a new listing. Our team will review your submission and add the profile to the directory.
