Platform Purpose
BC Industrial Supply is an industrial supplier directory and request-for-quote (RFQ) matching platform for British Columbia. The platform facilitates connections between industrial buyers and suppliers but does not broker, resell, or participate in commercial transactions.
Acceptable Use
Users may:
- Browse the supplier directory
- Submit legitimate RFQ requests for industrial sourcing needs
- List their business as a supplier with accurate information
- Contact suppliers directly through provided channels
Users may not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use the platform for spam, solicitation, or non-industrial purposes
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract platform data without permission
- Impersonate other businesses or individuals
Supplier Listings
Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. BC Industrial Supply does not verify capabilities, certifications, or business credentials. Buyers should conduct their own due diligence before engaging suppliers.
RFQ Submissions
RFQ requests are matched with suppliers based on stated capabilities and categories. BC Industrial Supply does not guarantee response rates, pricing, or supplier availability. All negotiations and agreements occur directly between buyers and suppliers.
Platform Role and Limitations
BC Industrial Supply is an informational platform only. We do not:
- Act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in transactions
- Guarantee supplier performance, quality, or delivery
- Assume liability for disputes between buyers and suppliers
- Provide warranties or endorsements of listed suppliers
Content and Intellectual Property
Platform content, including the directory structure, capability taxonomy, and knowledge hub articles, is owned by BC Industrial Supply. Supplier-submitted content remains the property of the submitting party but is licensed for display on the platform.
Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BC Industrial Supply is not responsible for the accuracy of supplier information, the outcome of RFQ requests, or the quality of goods and services provided by listed suppliers.
Termination
BC Industrial Supply reserves the right to remove listings, reject RFQ submissions, or terminate access for users who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
